Yamazaki Mizunara 2013 Single Malt Japanese Whisky 70cl, 48% ABV

This limited edition bottling was released in 2013 amd the whisky has been matured in Mizunara casks, which is Japanese Oak. This wood is famous for imparting its own characteristics onto the maturing whisky within, flavours such as butterscotch, leather, mocha, coconut and other wonderful notes.

The Yamazaki distillery in Shimamoto, Osaka, produces  whiskies that contain carefully blended components aged in American, Spanish, and Japanese Mizunara oak.
