This bottling contains a blend of three exceptional Islay malts, all distilled in 1969 or earlier. These include a Bunnahabhain 1968 aged in a new sherry cask, a Bowmore 1969 aged in bourbon wood, and a Bruichladdich 1966 aged in bourbon wood. These vintage malts showcase the unique flavors and styles of Islay.

Established early in 1994, Murray McDavid has quickly become a leading Scotch whisky bottler. One of the first to start using a variety of interesting casks in the Art of Maturation to produce Inspired Scotch Whisky.

This whisky offers a gentle arrival with notes of honeyed oak, chocolate, and tropical fruit. The medium finish leaves behind a lingering taste of sweet eucalyptus and nutty undertones.
