Released exclusively for the Spirit of Speyside Festival 2023, this Glenfarclas 2002 single-cask bottling is a magnificent showcase of traditional, deeply sherried Speyside whisky. Matured for over two decades in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt (Cask #3774), it was bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.3% ABV with a highly limited run of just 636 bottles. This un-chillfiltered “sherry bomb” boasts a dark mahogany color and unleashes a decadent wave of dark chocolate, spiced raisins, stewed plums, and festive winter spices, all underpinned by Glenfarclas’ signature honeyed malt and a long, warming finish.
