The Amrut Two Continents is a highly unique single malt series crafted to experiment with “trans-continental” maturation across vastly different climates. The unpeated spirit is first aged in Bangalore, India, where the intense tropical heat rapidly extracts bold wood flavors from ex-bourbon casks that previously held peated Scottish whisky. The casks are then shipped to a temperate location in Europe, where the cooler, gentler climate allows the liquid to slowly mellow and mature over several more years. The result is an elegant, sophisticated whisky that bridges two worlds, offering a rich profile of vanilla custard, tropical fruits, and vibrant baking spices, undercut by a faint, phantom kiss of wood smoke.
