A very rare limited edition sherry cask matured Macallan 40 year old released exclusively through travel retail in 2005.  Matured for four decades entirely in hand-crafted European Sherry oak casks from Spain, this highly coveted expression was limited to just 450 bottles worldwide and bottled at 43% ABV. It delivers a quintessential vintage Macallan experience, offering an intense and complex profile of rich dried fruits, antique oak, and dark chocolate, all wrapped in a deeply aromatic, lingering spiced finish.

A very rare thing indeed.
